I bought a Juicy Couture one piece swimming suit in May and as much as I've tried to wear it, I just can't stand it. I hate, hate, hate one pieces (on me).

So I decided to amp up the P90X and say 'WHATEVER' to my stretch marks and scars from gall bladder surgery and hope that a solid tan will do some covering up.

So I ordered this suit

How many times can you throw the tennis ball, over the umbrella, without dropping it, in one minute... game.

I made chocolate cake with chocolate frosting from scratch.

This is Monet's new favorite face for the week, lips out. When it's too cold to swim outside, all you need is a bathtub.

Outdoor furniture...

I bought the bright yellow metal bistro chairs, but the table was white and since my whole life is white I wanted it to be a fun color. It took me (who usually can make a quick decision) forever to choose a color; apple green, coral, light pink, raspberry, powder blue, gray...? But I ended up with lavender and I think it turned out really cute. I'm happy. Photo before our bbq with friends Saturday night.

(Monet isn't really that heavy, I was making that face because I was just about to throw her in the air and tickle her!)

Chloe came over today to layout and swim. Monet got a pool for her birthday, so we decided it was finally warm enough to play in it.

...

Waiting patiently for the pool to get water. (I carried buckets from the kitchen so the water would be warm!) I wasn't sure what she was going to think, but she LOVED it. She squealed for about an hour.

She and Chloe found a lady bug, which she tried to eat, but luckily it flew away.

Let summer begin.

Last night at Thanksgiving Point, Chloe put this tutu on Monet. She would look down put her arms up and go, "OH!" So my mom bought it for her. This morning she saw it and handed it to me so I put it on her. She wore it all morning. She ate waffles in it, watched Yo Gabba Gabba in it, played with her toys and helped me clean her room all while wearing the tutu... Pretty cute...

Memorial Day, we all went to see my Grandpa Karl's headstone.

My cousin Gabe and Monet (she loves Gabe).

My other grandparents are buried in the same cemetery so we spent some time there as well.

Afterwards we had dinner at my grandma's house. Monet loved playing with the kids. She didn't stop for one minute. She was especially interested in Jack. She was loving on him, trying to hug him and hold him. It was really cute.
