Yesterday we went to church to the Palm Sunday service. It was such a lovely day.
Then we went back to my parents for brunch... (and then stayed for lunch.) 
Since we will spend Easter Sunday in Manti, we kind of had our own Easter celebration a week early.
We set up a little Easter egg hunt for Monet in the back yard. She got the hang of it right away and had fun finding the eggs.
Then she discovered there was candy in them.
We spent most of the afternoon soaking up the sun, sitting in the backyard. Monet was happy playing with Sadie and Tinkerbell. Her favorite thing is to put their food in their dish. They must love when she comes over because they get lots of extra grub.

It's Saturday.
It's been snowing all day (is it April or January? not sure today.)
The Master's is on.
I am in my workout clothes but haven't gotten off the couch all day.
Monet is taking a three hour nap.
Half of me likes the quiet time, the other half is repeating, "spring will come, spring will come..."
(I hope it comes soon.)

Monet's First Time Skiing
...
On Saturday me, Grant, Riley, Chloe and my mom took Monet to Sundance for her first time skiing. It was really warm and overcast and there was no one there, so it was perfect. 
We wanted to put her in the hiking backpack but she didn't want anything to do with that, then we tried to get her to wear her goggles and she didn't want anything to do with those either, so she was carried and her eyes were watering, but it was all about her having a good experience. Skittles on the lift ride made her extra happy. 
I love her little grin. She loved it. We would stop and she would say, "more, more."
She looked like a little doll on the chair lift, so tiny.
We skied for at least an hour. She wanted to go more, but I didn't want to wear her out on the whole thing. Better to leave her excited and ready for next year. Then she'll be on her own skis.
Afterwards we went to the deli and had lunch and suckers. (She likes to "cheers" everything!)
I'm so glad that she loved it, (even though she doesn't really have a choice in this family!)

A haircut & the park
...
On Tuesday Monet got her first haircut. No one would let me cut her hair so we chopped her bangs. I love it. 
Friday we went to Vintage park and played and played. Chloe took all of these adorable photos. Monet was in heaven being outside and free. I don't think she remembered what warm weather was! 
Such a great day.
