Thanks for all of the happy birthdays girls. We'll do something fun this Saturday night.

On Thursday (mine and Chloes birthday) we're throwing Chloe a surprise party. We've invited a bunch of 7th and 8th graders and hired a high school band. We bought tons of candy to fill up jars, ordered dozens and dozens of rose bud cupcakes, we're going to hang paper balls and round light bulbs in the trellis. We have raspberry lemonade and limeade in glass jars with little tags. We rented round tables and white table cloths and made flower balls to put in the center of the tables. My mom and I just laugh cause we've turned this into a mini wedding reception. But hey you only turn 13 once.

Natalie, remember the other day at lunch when you asked if I was stressed about the house and I said no...well now I'm saying yes.
This is so hard. The decisions are endless. Second, third and fourth guessing myself has become second nature. I find myself thinking "In three years will I need an outlet there? Will I wish that the windows cranked opened instead of pulled open? Will our kids kill themselves on all these wood floors?" It feels impossible to get this right the first time!

I do know I love this bedroom. If I ever have a girl I think I'll copy it exactly.

We'll have a BBQ, Smores, Maybe Natalie will make us a yummy dessert.

I'm not trying to plan my own 24th birthday party but Mer had the idea of going up the canyon for my birthday...so I'm planning the party. My birthday is on a Thursday, I was thinking Friday night we could all go up the canyon and have smores and a camp fire. If we're really feeling up to it we could go all out with hot dogs and hamburgers. But if that's too much work just dessert is just fine with me.

We can do Saturday night too. Whatever works for you guys. Let me know.

Oh by the way, my birthday is on the 24th for those of you who haven't known me for the last 24 years.
