Last weekend we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went up to the cabin. Monet was in absolute heaven. If it was up to her she would have stayed up there for the rest of her life.

It was her first time fishing. My dad bought her a Buzz Lightyear rod and that made it even more exciting. She loved it.

It was Dylan's first time to the cabin. We had some intense games of checkers going on. We ate some really good food too. Nothing like steaks and blueberry cobbler by the camp fire.

And let's not forget my famous s'mores.

Leadville 2011

We had such a fun trip to Colorado this year. We stayed at Copper Mountain and loved it. We rode the go carts and Monet was in heaven squirting Chloe and I on the bumper boats. We also rode the chair lift and shopped. It was so much fun.

The Leadville 100

It was so great because the weather was hot and dry, no rain up there is amazing. It was too hot for the riders but lovely for the crew people!

Larry did really well. He finished in 10:50.

It was our 8th trip there and I think it was the funnest one yet.

There is a whole lot of waiting time when you are crewing for 11 hours, so Chloe used some of that time to teach Monet how to pose for photos.

She'll be on 'Toddlers & Tiara's' before we know it.

We're home from Leadville.

It was a fun and tiring trip.

Chloe took about six million photos, so I'll have to sift through those tomorrow.

I am coaching Timpview's competition team this year and have nothing prepared for the tryouts today.

My house is a mess. There are three baskets full of dirty laundry. We have zero groceries and my car is covered in dirt and bugs.

Oh well.
