It's no secret that I love Crew Cuts and this fall I love them even more.

One thing I love about my mom is that she loves to shop. But what I really love is that she won't buy anything that either I haven't picked out for her myself or approved of. So when I saw these shoes in the Anthropologie catalog I said to myself, "I want those shoes" then I said, "What would I do with those shoes?" then I called my mom and told her she had to buy them. Two days later they were on her door step. The sad news is my feet are too small to share. I think that's why I love shoe shopping for her more than anything - cause I have to shop in kids shoes - which yes is a price break but really frustrating when you're looking for the latest.

I have a small dilemma...

This Saturday my parents are having a yard sale.

Since I gave everything away before we moved I only have one thing I could sell... clothes.

Here's the problem, I have a hard time getting rid of clothes.

I'm not afraid to get rid of a new couch, or a slightly used bike, or a kitchen table that's in perfect condition, but for some reason. I hate giving up my clothes.

The truth is, I always buy new at the beginning of the season.

And I rarely wear anything out.

Here is the catch. It's not uncommon for me to buy something, love it but not wear it, then one day, magically fall in love with it again and wear it constantly.

But I will admit I have a lot of clothes. And I like buying more clothes. And I don't need all of those clothes.

So here's the question... Is it worth selling all these clothes at yard sale prices? Or will the new freedom of clearing my closet be worth it?

I've been absent from blogging for a few reasons:

...

-Grant's brother was in town staying with us, which meant a lot of games of ping pong.

-Grant's parents are now in town visiting.

-I've been watching Chloe play soccer.

-I've been letting my house get dirty.

-I've been relaxing and prolonging my fall cleaning, which I would like to do, but am making myself enjoy the summer longer. I'm not putting my swimming suits up even though I no longer have anywhere to wear them.

-And I've been trying to convince Grant to get me a house cleaner (just once in a while).I might have him convinced. I noticed the other day my baseboards are starting to get dusty. I wish new houses never got old.
