This weekend I didn't get one photo of:

the Sundance Film Festival Grant and I went to,

or of us skiing,

or when we went to the Timpview basketball game and Monet got to go on the floor during halftime with Chloe and the other cheerleaders.

We did get this of Monet at Provo Beach. Me, Grant, Chloe and now my dad, are obsessed with the basketball hoop shoot. It's addicting.

They have cute pillows. I must have a thing for pillows because I can't get enough of them.

How adorable is this Marie Antoinette doll. I wish it was mine. But I guess once I get my sewing skills together I can make it for myself because of this amazing kids sewing book, all on dolls.

Sort of thinking about Paris, and what I miss most.

I definitely miss the shopping, and the pastries that I could eat all day everyday. I miss the architecture, oh and the museums, I really, really miss the museums. I can just imagine Monet's little feet running through the Louvre. I can't wait to take her there. I really miss watching the people. I would see girls on the metro and wonder how they ever figured out how to put that outfit together. I miss the language and am sad that it's slipping away, but a little studying will cure that. Sometimes I miss the constant motion of the city. After four months it started to drive me nuts, but when I'm sitting in my quiet house, I can just imagine the commotion and the endless noises, people always going, easily finding something to do.


What I do not miss: the smell of the metro in the winter.

help please I got this really cute "R" for Christmas. It has pink and white light bulbs in it that light up. Here's the problem and my question; I don't love how the cord hangs down the middle of the wall AND it's really dangerous because I don't want Monet to pull on the cord and have a big metal heavy sign fall on her head. So I am wondering if anything exists that eliminates the extension cord, like a battery pack, or something? Am I just dreaming this up?

(ps. isn't it about time someone invented wireless electricity (!))

New Years Eve day my dad came over to make Monet her very own Frosty. They had to work for this snowman since the snow was dry as dust, so they used buckets of water. Monet ate Swedish fish while she watched the magic happen out the window. Once he was built she went out to put the face on. She was very happy with her Frosty. Good job boys.

This girl is crazy about her grandpa.I had no part in this, I was cooking and just emerged for a photo (!)

Meet Frosty.

Now every morning when she wakes up she runs to the french doors and yells

"Frosty the Snowman!"
