Friday night my Halloween crazed uncle threw another Evil Ball. No babies allowed so Grant and I just stopped by to see everyone and to say hi. I wasn't sure how Monet was going to handle everyone in scary costumes but she was fine. Seeing my dad in this costume had her a little confused though.

I thought Wyatt and Lindsay's was the best. They (the biggest Ute fans ever) were BYU zoobies. Wyatt looks like he is twelve and Linds looks like she just walked out of the Cougar Eat. I love it!

Instead of the party Grant and I went to Salt Lake to go to dinner and hangout with friends.

We've been friends for a long time, so now that we all have babies made it so fun. This is the first time they have all been together.

...

The little witch juicing up before the big night. First it was off to Nana's and grandpa's.
Monet quickly got the concept once Nana put some tootsie rolls in her bucket.

Grandma Joanne gave her a Halloween snow globe, which she immediately dropped and broke but grandma luckily had two!

She thought Chloe in her cat mask was hilarious.

We ate salad, lasagna, cream soda, carmel apples, sugar cookies, and candy, then we watched the baseball game while it poured and poured.

Monet loved answering the doorbell. She would jump up and scream with excitement when it rang. Once the rain stopped we all braved the cold and did a little trick or treating. A couple times Monet took the candy out of her bucket and put it into the bucket of the person handing it out. We drove around and visited some family and saw a haunted house.

We partied hard and Monet was so adorable all night.

She was completely out on the ride home.

Did I ever tell you about the time when we convinced Chloe to put on her Eeyore costume from when she was 7 and then she couldn't get it over her head to take it off? Grant had to assist her.
Monet laughed and danced around. And I got out the camera to embarrass her because that's what sisters are for.

Last night we carved pumpkins while we watched the Giants baseball game. It was quite the carving competition.
(Chloe's friend Dylan.) Very impressive pumpkin.
Monet was loving every minute of it. She loves pumpkins.

Finished products: Skeleton by Riley, Pumpkin Eater by Dylan and Chloe, Jack the Pumpkin King by Grant. Pretty spooky.

About a week or so ago we went to the Hee Haw Farm. As we were about to go in... we changed our minds. It was hot and we're lucky because Monet is young enough where we can tell her she's going to ride the wagon, and then not ride the wagon, and she doesn't remember. We decided to go pick out pumpkins instead.
Since Monet is pumpkin obsessed, she was very happy.

We bought the biggest pumpkin there, plus a few extra that Monet wanted.

Now that there is snow outside, I'm really missing sunny days like this. Man, it's going to be a long winter!

Wednesday night we went to Timpview to watch Chloe cheer. They were having the mini camp for the kids so I handed Monet to Chloe on the track. To say Monet loved it would be an understatement. She was in heaven.

We were leaving at half time so Chloe handed Monet to Grant over the rail and as soon as she did Monet got this quiver lip, and she started to cry the saddest, sweetest cry you've ever seen, with two little tears down her cheeks. So immediately Grant handed her back to Chloe. Then she was happy again. She was so adorable, loving every second of it.

Saturday late afternoon was Wyatt and Lindsay's rehearsal dinner. It was at this really neat restaurant called Sea Salt in Salt Lake. We had such a fun time. Monet and my dad, making each other laugh.
