San Francisco is one of my favorite cities... I think one of the reasons why is because it's where Grant and I went on our honeymoon.
...
Our fifth anniversary is coming up this fall. That seems to me, like the perfect reason to visit.

Grant comes from a long line of dentists, so whenever I need work, it's just a plane ride away. Chloe came along because my parents are in Vegas. Grant was playing golf in Tahoe last week and was on the 15th hole when Chloe and I arrived in the Sacramento airport... so we had four hours to kill.
So we

Ate pizza on the bus stop benches.
And then found a shady spot underneath a tree to watch a movie. It didn't turn out too well because the buses and taxis were too loud.
So we played Uno. Again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again... 36 times to be exact.
We then found the Mexico terminal which was air conditioned and abandoned. We continued Uno in here until Grant picked us up.
I thought I was going to have two root canals but didn't even need one, thankfully. So in between dental work all we did was swim and play with Grant's nieces.

It was a lot of fun and perfectly relaxing.

We spent the 4th of July in Manti with family. We played golf Thursday, had a pool party, watched the parade, had our own "field of fire", went to the park, had a water fight, played golf again, had a picnic, played pool and watched more fireworks. Grant and I golfing.
Riley eating sno cones during the parade.
4 wheeling.

Watching fire works.
We went mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rode 4 wheelers and motorcycles, played games and had plenty of smores. This may be old news but smores made with peanut butter cups are pretty amazing.

It's nice to have cute beverages when people come to visit. My favorite are the Izze soda's. (They're all natural made of real fruit juice, for those of you who care about those kinds of things). I went to Costco yesterday and stalked up on them. The added bonus is they look cute in the fridge.
...
And just a side note... in order for the air conditioning to work the breaker needs to be turned ON.
...
This info could have saved us 10 days of boiling and the ac repair guy a trip to our house.
...
Reminds me of when we first got married and I was doing laundry and had too many towels in, which caused the machine to spin unevenly. So I panicked, called Grant, told him the brand new washer was broken. He called the repair man. The repair man came all the way out. Took two towels out, shut the machine and pressed on.
...
Yeah, I felt dumb.
