 Thursday was my 29th birthday, Chloe's 18th and also Chloe's High School graduation. 

It all made for an eventful, exciting fun day. ...

We've had a lot of good things happening the month of May. 

One of them being Chloe going to her last dance, Senior Dinner Dance. 

She looked absolutely gorgeous. 

I was doing her make up and she said, " this is "our" last dance." With a sadness in both of our voices. What's more fun than to shop for fancy dresses, buy new makeup, jewelry etc... with your mom and sister! It amazes me how quickly time has gone by.

Monet really loves her trampoline. So much that there have many days where we have to eat every meal on the trampoline. 

You can imagine her reaction when one very windy morning, the trampoline blew away. It blew three neighbors down and got stuck in a tree! Luckily grandpa Larry came to save the day (Grant was golfing at Pebble Beach :) We've had to order a new part so it's been out of commission for a few days. Monet talks about the ordeal at least once a day!

Thursday evening was the cheer banquet. It was our last cheer event...ever. Chloe got Coaches Choice, Cheerleader of the Year... and that had nothing to do with me. She really deserved it. I had a chance to talk with the kids about Nationals since I hadn't seen them since. I cried, like really cried. I blamed it on the pregnancy. It was a good night. A good finish to the year.

Most of Mothers Day I wasn't feeling so well, but thankfully by the evening I was feeling better. Everyone came over for dinner, gifts, and dessert.

May 2nd.

We started off Grants 33 rd birthday by watching Monet at her last ballet class. 

We then all went to lunch at Milagros. 

It happened to be such a warm beautiful day.  We opened gifts. Monet gave Grant some squirt guns, which of course ended in a bit of a water fight. 

 We had birthday pie and enjoyed the sunshine. 

 Monet did a little yard work. 

 And then fell fast asleep.

We love birthdays! Hooray because May is full of them!
