Yesterday we had an Owl birthday party for Monet.
Beaux, Sloane, Indi & Monet
Surprisingly the weather was nice and the kids could play and eat outside.
We played 'pin the beak on the owl'
Monet loved all of her gifts.
It was hard to get her away from cute baby Penelope!
The kids really loved the pull string pinata.
Monet thought the Little Mermaid card that Wyatt & Lindsay gave her was pretty awesome.
And I thought that the Nicole Miller dress and sparkly Toms that Wyatt & Lindsay gave her was even more awesome. How cute is that.
All of the kids were so helpful opening gifts.
Monet didn't waste any time sporting the sunglasses Dylan gave her.
Waiting patiently to open her new dolls.
My parents gave Monet this cute little table and chairs and also a new Strider bike. Riley gave her a helmet and biking gloves. She always is trying on my dads helmet so she was eager to put her own helmet on right away.
I can't wait for it to get warm so we can play with it outside.
Then it was time for birthday candles. She's been preparing for this moment all week. And it paid off because we did it again and again and again and again.
I think she had the best birthday a two year could have.

What a fun party for Monet! The owls are darling. I am so impressed she can actually "blow" out the candles. Most kids just spit all over their cake trying! :) What a priceless photo.
