We took Monet to Santa Claus last night.
...
She looks pretty excited. Chloe wanted to sit on Santa's lap too... she really wants extensions and thought she better ask him in person. Monet wasn't sure what to ask for.
I didn't know if she would cry or not... obviously not. She just looked at him. He talked to her and held her hand.

I think I will take a blogging break. My heart feels heavy. My grandpa Karl Tucker isn't doing well. We are all so sad.

12.10.09

I'm a little late this month... but Monet is now 7 1/2 months. She has two bottom teeth (as you can see). Her hair is growing and now she wakes up with the cutest fuzzy bedhead. She is crawling all over. She sits up all by herself. She pulls herself up on her knees. The other day she pulled herself all the way up on her feet while in her crib... so we lowered it as far down as it would go. She can say "mama, dada and baba" obviously not on cue, but all are in her mumbled vocabulary. She really makes me laugh, especially when she squints her eyes and crinkles her nose like she is in the picture.

Monet is sleeping, so I am searching the computer for cute things like...
This adorable sweater tag. I've decided next year I am going to up my xmas decorating. I love these paper balls.
How cute is this kids fashion starter kit. I honestly want this for myself right now.
Love the french wooden toys.

I love how many great Christmas things you can find online. The possibilities are endless. It's so fun.

Chloe's Cheer Competition
...
Yesterday was Timpview's first competition at Cottonwood. When we arrived my heart started pounding with nervousness for Chloe... She was nervous too. We were sitting front row. I've always been cheering or coaching and so I was loving being a spectator. I could have sat there all day. I think Monet could have too. She was entranced. Look at that face. Chloe opened the routine with a basket toss double full down. It was beautiful.
Here she is again, she is one of the main flyer's which made it so fun to watch. I'm so proud of her because she literally decided to do cheer the week of tryouts, with no experience or practice, and now she's awesome, just in 6 short months.
It was a little embarrassing because I was fighting tears the whole time. I don't know why. It's like one day she's 4 and standing on the basketball court next to me while I cheer, in her Dorothy costume and now all of a sudden she's 15 and on the cheer squad herself.
It was really fun to watch. She did great. The whole team did.

Tonight we put up the Christmas tree. The house smells like fresh pine needles. Monet is crawling everywhere.
