We went to our cabin for the weekend. We fished, road 4 wheelers, hiked, mountain biked, painted, hung around the camp fire.

True rumors: Lance Armstrong will ride in Leadville Trail 100 race this year
-------------------------------------------------------------
For the last 4 years my dad has raced in in the Leadville Trail 100. It's a 100 mile mountain bike race that takes 12 hours of straight mountain biking. We just found out this year Lance Armstrong and Floyd Landis will be racing in it too. It's going to be crazy. Leadville is such a small town. I'm hoping to run into Lance while eating a cinnamon roll in the bakery. Too bad he's not with Sheryl Crow any more, that would be even better.

So, house things are coming together pretty well. I found my wallpaper after many hours of wallpaper hunting. It's in England right now, but it won't be too long before it's put on a boat and glued in my bathroom. I'm also proud to say that after many emails and some unusually nice people, I got Urban Outfitters to tell me the paint color of their Fresno Store dressing rooms. I saw the color. Loved it. And now it's mine! I'm never actually going to live in this house because once it's finished I'll be living in the crazy people institute.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
I will be in Manti for the week of the 4th. We will watch the 5 man parade, climb the greased poll, compete in the log sawing contest, try to win goldfish in plastic bags, silently judge the talent show which consists usually of kids teaching themselves to break dance off of 80's music video's, run in the 5K, watch the boys try to get a hit off the Manti Templar Women's Softball Team, have our own Field Of Fire (and yes, last year we did set the field on fire), eat pancakes in the park with orange tang in lieu of the real stuff, and of course create havoc in the small town by loading trucks with super soakers, water balloons and buckets of water, ambushing innocent bystanders. All while eating strawberry pie and singing the National Anthem.
