I'm so bummed. I went to the throat specialist yesterday because I have a soar throat every two days and finally got the guts to have it checked out. Sadly I have to get my tonsils out. The first thing the Doctor said to me was "This will be 14 days of the most excruciating pain you have ever felt." Wow thanks for being so sensitive. So I'm going in on Tuesday to start my 14 day marathon of misery. I'm extremely nervous. I am so tired of procedures, I've had two screws in my elbow, a screw in my shoulder, surgery on my broken nose, two screws in my jaw, the most horrible eye surgery, I just had my wisdom teeth out a few months ago and now this! When will it ever end! So love me from afar while I'm gone. I'll be back in a couple of weeks I guess. Too bad I didn't schedule this right before we go to Hawaii in May. No food for two weeks can only help out the swimming suit situation!

So sorry. Wisdom teeth was about the most awful thing for me out of all my stuff. Mouthstuff is the worst. But where are your tonsils anyways?
That is so miserable! My brother-in-law got his removed and survived okay, so hopefully you'll be the same. I'm excited to be let into your blog! Thanks! I think I'll be seeing you soon...?
I've been known to make a mean minestroni soup! Call me if want some!
Oh my gosh! I never knew! What a crazy little body and life you've got there. Hope all goes well. I didn't know tonsils were so painful to remove! Good luck
No fun! Good luck and I'm not sure you can afford to not eat for 14 days, you might whither away!
Oh my word! I am so sorry! I had that done when I was 20 and it is SO not fun :) But you will make it through and if you are like me, you will be 15 lbs lighter at the end of it. Let that help you get through it! I wish I was there to help you out. I hope you are doing okay. Thinkin about you!
