This weekend Monet learned how to stand up all on her own. She even is taking a step or two. Sunday afternoon I got out the camera and caught a few shots of her new trick.

As you can tell she is pretty proud of herself. She is always making funny faces like this.

She's not completely confident so her hands are always ready for the fall.

We then turned the music on and had a little dance party. She loves to dance. Black Eyed Pea's "I've Got A Feeling" seems to be her favorite song. This is her face right when we turn it on.
Then she gets up on her knees, puts her hands in the air and starts to bounce.
She's so much fun to have around.

Wow, Monet walking. Wasn't she just born? What a cutie. Now you just might want to put a helmet on her for the next year! I swear Lane had some kind of bruise or goose egg on his head for a whole year. Of course Monet is probably much more careful and cautious than Lane ever was! :)
