This means one thing. It's wrapping season. And I love it.
And have you ever seen a sadder tree? It was wimpy to begin with. Then it crashed and broke some ornaments, and spilled water all over the presents. So we cut 4 huge branches off the bottom so it would fit tight in the stand. So now it's crooked, skinny, too short and missing the bottom half! Looks like next year I am going to have to leave the fire and hike in the snow to find the tree.
moral of the story is when you are lazy and send your husband to cut down the tree... there's no complaining allowed.

i like trees that are really skinny and have no branches. ours is a little too full for my liking. the skinny ones have character:)
