9.29.11

It's been a long, sad month, so we decided we needed a happiness injection, and what better place to do that than Disneyland for three days.

...

Monet has been talking about Disneyland for six months, and then finally she was there. She was so excited. It was adorable. We stayed up til midnight the first night, watching the firework show and Fantasmic.

She was so into the characters. She wanted to meet and hug everyone of them.

The Halloween decorations were fun.

We went right into the Princess shop and grandpa told Monet to pick out whatever dress she wanted. She picked Sleeping Beauty, along with the crown and wand. It was funny because the lady in the store said, "Oh this one gets returned all the time because the kids hate the sleeves and the big collar, it's too much for them." I wanted to say, "You don't know who you're dealing with." We put it on her right outside the store and she barely took it off the rest of the three days we were there.

Monet was in princess heaven. She was having full on conversations with each of them.

Alice was a favorite since she has been constantly watching that movie for the last three weeks.

Toy Story

When we were at Disneyland last April Monet was frightened of just about every ride. But this time she was so different. She loved them all. She loved Snow White. She even loved the Haunted Mansion. I was nervous about taking her on it but right when we got off she wanted back on.

We did all the shows. Went on just about every ride, some twice. We stayed at the Grand California and so we entered into the park right by the new Little Mermaid ride, which Monet was crazy over and went on it again and again and again. Monet was so sweet and fun. We honestly had the best time ever.

oh my gosh Hayley! I'm dying over Monet in all these photos! She is adorable. So great that she wasn't afraid of the princesses or other characters. This makes me want to take another trip there with my girls.

Ps. so good seeing you the other week! You are so teeny tiny! :)
