Last night was scary. I woke up with a shooting pain above my stomach, below my chest. It was so bad I could hardly speak. I couldn't catch my breath and felt like I was going to black out. I was so hot and my body was convulsing. We called the hospital they said to come in right away. So at 3 am we raced to the ER. They admitted me into labor and delivery. Thankfully, luckily, gratefully, as I arrived the pain subsided. They checked the baby and everything seemed to be fine. We went home and the pain hasn't returned. They don't know what caused it. So I'm just laying low and being careful. But just wanted to report that every thing's OK.

I feel like the worst friend. I guess when people make their blogs private and therefore don't pop up on my google reader it becomes out of site out of mind. I forget to check them.
HELLO~congrats on the baby...5 months late. I am the worst! I hope you are doing well. I am so sad I am not coming for Christmas so I won't see your cute little pregnant belly. I am so happy for you guys. Glad to hear all is well after that scare too.

I had a similar experience when I was pregnant with Boston, but the pain was in my kidney. I went through the exact same thing and then got sent home after they found that all was well, but I had to stay and drink A LOT of water to stop my contractions so I wouldn't go into labor from pain.
All the weird things that happen when you are pregnant....sheesh. They are scary because you worry about your little one.
I am glad things are well.
Your little babay will be so grateful to you for all you have gone through.
I can't wait to hear what you are having. :)

I had that with Jesse and it was because I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured. I have had a few, and they are excruciating, but thankfully not a big deal as far as long term complications. I bet it was maybe that. I wouldn't over worry.

I am glad you and the baby are both doing ok. I think Chelsey had similar problems while being pregnant with Noah, but she actually went into labor. She ended up with Kidney stones. Not fun! Get your rest!
