You might be wondering what's been on my mind lately... baby names, strollers, onesies, bouncers.... not really. I've been too consumed with the nursery. This dresser could work as a changing table. It would need to be painted bright pink... or maybe a kelly green... that's what Ikea furniture is for right?
It would be cute to change out the knobs to these Anthropologie ones.

I've always loved this chair. Seems like just the right size for a baby room... I wish it could rock back and forth...

And the bathroom... the bathroom needs all sorts of new things too. Found this mirror at Anthropologie today, hoping they will fit over the two bathroom sinks...
...
Too many decisions.

Good idea to think about decorating most. My experience is that all the baby "things" that everyone says you need aren't really things you need before the baby is born. Every baby is different. Some like a swing, but some HATE it. Some like the bouncy- Some don't, and on and on.
I think that white dresser would be really cute as a changing table, and I LOVE the chair. I am so excited for you.

i have loved that chair since the first day i saw it.....cute dresser, too although i've never used a changing table and i've never known anyone that used theirs either. maybe you'll change that. i tried to teach myself french one summer because i had a boyfriend that spoke it (he went to sweden for the summer and i was going to surprise him). i didn't get too far. maybe you need to teach me a phrase a week. in no time, your baby will be able to teach me.

i love my orla kiely bag....i use it as a diaper bag. i stole the idea from whitney. i totally copied her and got the exact same bag because i too hate diaper bags (5 kids and i've never had an official "diaper bag") i went over a year without a bag because i couldn't find anything. i almost plopped down a couple hundred bucks at the childrens hour (a couple of times) for a real diaper bag but i just didn't love it enough. so, the bags whit and i use are just the big tote bags. they aren't waterproof on the inside but as long as you're careful, it's fine. they also don't have a super wide opening but sometimes you have to sacrifice, right? you're smart to be shopping for a diaper bag already because they are hard to find. we love ours and i know you would be happy with one-you can't go wrong with orla kiely. happy shopping!

i'm in the EXACT same boat! i already bought that dresser.

why is the only cute glider i've found $900?! i bet you could have a furniture maker transform that chair into a rocker by changing the legs.

if you find a good glider/bedding source pass it along.
