The baby room is finally starting to come together. Everything is ordered and hopefully on its way within the next 4 weeks. They started painting yesterday. I'm happy with the color. It took a few tries but I think I found the right one. It's sweet but not boring, soft but bright. I think it will be just perfect for her. The bathroom attached to that room has double sinks, so I ordered two of these mirrors from Anthropologie. They came yesterday and are even cuter in person.

It's weird to see that room transform. It hit me last night that very soon a baby will be sleeping in there. I'm getting very excited for her.

2) I took home all the cash after cleaning house at our Academy Awards party.

I haven't worn a pair of jeans since the beginning of December. Everyday it's the same thing: high wasted dress, leggings, boots. I'm hoping I can finish the last two months without buying maternity clothes (or any clothes for that matter). However I'll be surprised if I can do it, my dresses seem to be rising in the front. I'll put on a dress that I wore just weeks ago to realize it's now too short in the front. (I'll prove the growing belly with a picture tomorrow). I'm starting to get the, "you must be due very soon" comments. I laugh, soon but not VERY soon. Still 10 weeks to go!

Valentines day was perfect. We went to breakfast at our favorite place in Salt Lake, Parc Cafe, with Wyatt and Lindsey. Then to downtown for a movie. Then to the Children's Hour to look at the adorable baby clothes. Then to the best bakery in Holladay, Bakers De Normandie, for french onion soup and chocolate strawberries. I carried my camera all day but failed to take one picture. There's something about being seven months pregnant. I never feel like being in the camera frame! Now I'm sick with a cold. Be back when better.

Quite awhile ago I read an article about a woman and her estate organizing strategy. She had one large binder filled with every detail about her home. She inserted a calender of the year reminding her what months the silver needed to be polished and when to have the drapes dry cleaned...I decided this might be a little much for my house hold, but I really liked the idea. So I started a binder full of all the subcontractors we used, lists of names if something goes wrong (for example when the bathroom flooded it was easy to find who installed the toilets and where we purchased them). It makes it easy to store and find manuals and warranties. I even have a section with paint colors I used and paint colors I would someday like to use. I think I'll add a calendar for things like, clean windows, change air filters, replace vacuum bag, etc... I like to have things together and minimal and this is an easy way to keep track of a lot of random paperwork.

I've been looking high and low for fabric for pillows, a bassinet fitted sheet and some other baby things. I was having a hard time until I was directed to Deseret Book (who would have thought) and I found tons of cute ones (they even carry Amy Butler). So if there's anyone out there in the dark about the fabric selection at Deseret Book like I was, go check it out.

I couldn't resist this post....My cute cousin Whitney gave me this adorable headband for the baby. It's so tiny and sweet I can't wait until she's here to wear it.
